SHLUK is a noise trio based in Prague working across field recording, noise and site-specific sound practice. Their work orbits around sound as a way of engaging with environmental acoustics and more-than-human sound ecologies. Their live performances take place at the site where the sounds were originally recorded, where, through multichannel loudspeaker configurations and unconventional amplification systems, SHLUK extends the relationship between recorded material, physical space and listening.
